Overview


This degree programme offers a unique, interdisciplinary approach to learning that will help you understand key issues in public health in the UK. You will also have the chance to focus on their specific career interests, develop your skills and learn from a variety of different theoretical perspectives. This programme is perfect for anyone who wants to explore public health in a unique way.


In Year 3, you will learn about different aspects of health and wellbeing, including how they relate to each other. You will choose from elective modules that focus on different topics, such as substance use, addictive behaviour, and health; mental health and wellbeing, and social exclusion and health.

Entry requirement

The standard offer is 80 UCAS tariff points from three A Levels, such as BCC.


Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications are accepted and will be reviewed upon individual basis


As an alternative, we requests:


  • Irish Certificate of Exit: BBCCC.
  • Scots who are higher: BBCCC.
  • Extended BTEC Level 3 Diploma: DMM in a subject related to business.
  • Diploma from the International Baccalaureate 24 points.


Candidates require to have at least 3 GCSEs, including English and math, with a grade of C or higher. 


If English is not your first language, you will require you to demonstrate a certificate of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or an equivalent English Language qualification.
